Bishkek: The creation of a public platform where the government, business and civil society will be able to discuss new opportunities offered by digital transformation for citizens and businesses is being held in Bishkek.

The forum, devoted to digitalization, will also address the realization of the people’s rights through digital tools as well as the challenges surrounding the initiative.

Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Dastan Dogoev told the forum about the work conducted by the state and presented the Sanarip Kyrgyzstan projects and the Tunduk interdepartmental system.

“Within the framework of the presidential decree on the creation of the Digital Kyrgyzstan project, the State Committee is working to provide digital access services for every citizen,” Dogoyev said, quoted by the national news agency KABAR.

“One of the first services implemented as part of this project was payment for transport. Over the first 20 days since its launch, this service was used by 30,000 citizens, and the total amount that was paid amounted to more than KGS 3.5 million,” he said.

Dogoyev added that another 25 services would be launched this month and that 189 services would be available by the end of the year.
