Islamabad: Pakistan successfully conducted the “training launch” of Surface-to-Surface Ballistic Missile (SSBM) named ‘Shaheen-1’, Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said on Monday.

The head of the military’s media wing, in a tweet, said that the missile is “capable of delivering all types of warheads up to range of 650 kilometers”.

“The launch was aimed at testing operational readiness of Army Strategic Forces Command (ASFC), ensuring Pakistan’s credible minimum deterrence,” he added.

“Troops displayed a high standard of proficiency in handling and operating the potent weapon system, ensuring Pakistan’s credible minimum deterrence,” DG ISPR stated.

In August, Pakistan had successfully carried out the night training launch of ‘Ghaznavi’, also an SSBM. займ безработным на карту мгновенно круглосуточно
