The Mongolian Republic, the heir of Genghis Khan, who had once ruled over Asia and even part of Europe, has recently been trying to develop natural and human resources. Magazine N’s correspondent in Mongolia, Uyanga Amarmend, has met with the deputy governor of the Bank of Mongolia to interview him about Mongolia’s national vision and the economic prospects of Asia. He stated that Asia is “a core engine of economic growth” and that “Asia has been expanding its middle class by increasing their savings,” revealing that Asia’s economic future is bright. He also supported China’s “long-term policy to shift from an export-oriented economy to a domestic consumption reliant one” and said that “stronger integration in the Asia-Pacific region will be very important to maintain even more sustainable growth” in Asia.
