China is getting ready to build for three more free-trade zones. AFP(Shanghai) reported.
On Tuesday, President Xi supported Politburo meeting to approve 3 new FTA zones in the southern province of Guangdong, eastern province of Fujian and northern city of Tianjin, depending on Xinhua.

Guangdong FTZ(Free-trade Zones) is designed to speed economic integration with neighbouring Hong Kor special administrative region of China.

While Fujian zone is focused on Taiwan, and Tianjin FTZ is part of a push to coordinate the city with neighboring Beijing and Hebei province.

However, “The country’s first project in Shanghai proving disappointing 18 months after its establishment,” AFP criticized.

Meanwhile, American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai said this month that 73 percent of the 377 companies res ng to its annual business climate survey said the FTZ offers “no tangible benefits” for them.
