JOO makes her comeback after 5 years

The kpop singer Jung Min Joo, who’s known by her stage name JOO, hasn’t been active since 2011, and she’s finally making a comeback.

JOO’s latest album “Heartmade” was released in 2011 under the management of JYP entertainment, with the main single being “Bad Guy”. Following that she released “Not What I Expected” to be part of the soundtrack of the Korean drama “History of a salaryman”, but she hasn’t released anything ever since.

Earlier this year, her contract with JYP ended and she signed a contract with Woollim entertainment, so this new album would be her first with the new company. Woollim Entertainment’s representative told MBNStar, “JOO will release a ballad track this month and have her comeback. The release date for her album has not been decided yet.”

Her other activities through these years included a role in 2013 movie Marriage Blue as Ah-ruem, and Han Ji-eun in the musical Full House in 2014.
