Lee Min Ho, Korea’s most loved star in Middle East

According to a questionnaire by KBS World Radio Arabic, the Korean star Lee Min Ho was chosen as the most loved Korean star among Arab audiences.

They asked Arabic audience about the Korean star who comes to mind when they talk about Korea, Lee Min Ho topped the results with percentage of 14.8%.

In the second place came “Super Junior” band with percentage of 10.8%, then “EXO” band with 9%, and the actress “Park Shin Hye” with 5.1%.

While fifth spot was shared by Korean president “Park Geun Hye”, UN Secretary-General “Ban Ki Moon”, and the band “SS501” with 2.6% each.

This questionnaire which ran through the first half of September, garnered a participation of over 3000 people from the Middle East. 95% of them said that the image of Korea got better for them thanks to the “Hallyu” stars.
