Ice Human Figures Symbolizing Climate Change

Human figures elaborated with ice, integrating the artwork “Monumento Minimo (minimum monument)” of the Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo, are installed in front of the Faculty of Law of the University of Chile in the city of Santiago, capital of Chile, August 22, 2012. The artwork “Monumento Minimo”, involves the installation of 1,000 small human figures made with ice that symbolizes the phenomenon of the climate change. The project is part of the six-day activities of the Environmental Law of the University of Chile. <Xinhua=Jorge Villegas>
