New Leadership Of Myanmar’s Ruling Party Elected At Conference In Nay Pyi Taw

President U Thein Sein, who is also Chairman of USDP, was re-elected as the party’s chairman at the party’s first conference which continued in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday as the third day of the conference. The new party leadership includes U Shwe Mann, Thura U Aye Myint and U Htay Oo as three vice chairmen, U Maung Maung Thein as general secretary, U Thein Zaw as joint general secretary and U Khin Aung Myint, U Thein Swe and Thura U Aung Ko as three secretaries.
