Filipinos Including Those With Hearing Disability March Street Asking Congress To Declare Filipino Sign Language As National Sign Language

Protesters, some of whom are persons with hearing disability, march towards the Philippine Congress to call for the passage of a bill “Declaring Filipino Sign Language as the National Sign Language of the Filipino Deaf” and the official language of the Philippine Government in all transactions involving the deaf at suburban Quezon city northeast of Manila, Philippines, Monday Nov. 5, 2012.
