Next Saturday, 20th February 2016, at 19:30 pm, hosted by the Egyptian Cultural Office in Kuwait, under the patronage of the Egyptian Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, Mr. Yasser Atef, the Egyptian cultural attaché Dr. Nabil Bahgat is a forum night to celebrate the new book of the writer Ashraf Aboul-Yazid; “A River on Travel.”

13 travels in four continents, 336 pages with 81 photos, to be discussed by literary figures, Kuwaiti novelists and writers Laila al-Othman & Hoda al-Shawwa, Egyptian critic and writer Dr. Mohammed Alim, Syrian critic & writer Dr. Nizar al-Ani. The forum book evening is introduced by novelist Ibrahim Farghali.

Among the travels in the book are visits to the Korean city of Gwangju, the hub of Asian culture; Tatarstan and Uzbekistan, Spain, Italy, Germany, India, among many other countries across the globe.

Among the evening activities, a poem on the book, written by the book author, is filmed by director Fatema Al-Zahraa Hassan, edited by Raed Mahdi, will be shown in 3 m, 27 s, and a DVD of the same name will be distributed. The film languages are Arabic, English, German (translated by Hassan Hamida), and Korean (translated by Kim a-ram).
