International Festival of Songrwriters to be held November in Costa Rica

Egyptian poet and novelist Ashraf Aboul-Yazid (Dali) has joined members of the jury of the International Festival of Songwriters in Costa Rica organized by the Health Without Borders Foundation along with singer-songwriter Javier Malca, Spanish poets and songwriters Luis Pastor and Lourdes Guerra, and Director of Poetry Festival Costa Rica Norberto Salinas.

Susana Poveda Solorzano, artistic director of the Festival Internacional de Cantautores Costa Rica, said that organizers asked world artists to send in their nominations for participants via email festivalcantautorescr@gmail.com

The festival will be held next November under the patronage of H. Ex. Luis Guillermo Solís Rivera, President of Costa Rica, to promote peace and encourage the art of songwriting besides spreading the spirit of creativity worldwide. The 1st round of the festival was held in the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose, on July 2016.
