K-pop group EXO ready will sweep China

K-pop group EXO are ready to release their new mini album in China and Korea, starting with an extravagant showcase at Jamsil Gymnasium in Seoul on April 15, SM Entertainment said Tuesday.

Titled “EXO Comeback Show,” the concert will unveil the group’s new songs and dances which are highly anticipated by their fans.

With this album, the group’s sub-splits ― EXO-K and EXO-M singing in Korean and Chinese respectively ― will accelerate their promotional activities both in China and Korea.

Particularly, the show is expected to bring a synergy effect as the album will be promoted through Samsung Music, a newly launched music service solely dedicated to Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones.

“EXO will begin their major promotions for the new mini album at the showcase, including the launching of Samsung Music. Together with SM Entertainment, the two global brands are expected to conduct a large scale promotion that will gain interest from fans around the globe,” the agency said.

The 12-member group swept last year’s music awards and their the first studio album “XOXO” sold more than 1 million copies
