European Union decided to use military force against migrants smugglers , after 34 new bodies were retrieved from Aegean sea near Greece while trying to go to Europe, among those were 11 children.

It’s expected that this decision will be in effect starting October, and it will give the European military ships the right to stop and confiscate boats that are suspected to be used by smugglers, they can also arrest them as long as they haven’t entered territorial waters.

This operation already started last year, using four ships and one thousand men, but it was only limited to international waters to watch for criminal networks sending run-down boats loaded with migrants to Italy from Libyan coasts, taking part in some relief operation and saving 1500 persons. But now the EU decided to move this operation further into the sea.

It’s decided that any suspects or any survivors would be Italian authorities. This was followed by similar decisions from both Austria and Germany of re-imposing control on their borders to stop the flow of refugees and migrants.
