Islamabad: Saudi Arabia’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Bin Sultan-al Nahyan met with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The two visiting ministers discussed the ongoing unrest in Indian-administered Kashmir.

Imran expressed concern over the human rights violations in Kashmir and put emphasis on lifting the curfew.

The Gulf ministers expressed concern over the human rights violations and said that contact will continue on the subject to ensure an end to tensions.

Al-Jubeir and Shaikh Abdullah earlier held a meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and discussed the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir in the wake of India’s move of ending the valley’s special status.

The meeting took place at the Foreign Office soon after the arrival of the Saudi and Emirati ministers on a one-day visit.
