South Korea’s government decided to send some humanitarian help to Honduras and Guatemala to help them deal with the disastrous effects of climate change.

15% of people in Honduras suffer from acute shortage of food and nutrients because of the worst drought to hit the country in 50 years. Guatemala has been suffering from the continuous drought, floods, and landslides.

The South Korean government is expected to send humanitarian aid worth 300 thousand dollars to Honduras, and 250 thousand dollars worth of aids to Guatemala.

South Korea had previously sent aid estimated by 2.65 million dollars throughout the year to countries that suffer from disasters related to climate change.
