President Park emphasizes the importance of female human resources

President Park Geun Hye emphasized the importance of of women universities’ responsibility in taking care of female human resources, making them into a good example the Korean society would be proud of.

This comes during President Park’s meeting with a number of trustees from Korean women universities, as she emphasized the importance of women’s role in education being a mother and a teacher. She pointed that women’s strong influence in society starts with the family.

She noted that women’s status in the Korean society had increased to the extent that terms such as “Age of feminist economy” emerged. As economic activities done by women became an integrated part of Korea’s economy. She also said that the many qualities women have such as accuracy, being responsible, and paying attention to details have proved their importance.

Park pledged her plan to implement a project that supports female human resources in the field of engineering.
